Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Universe 2023, is a 23-year-old mental health advocate and audiovisual producer from Nicaragua. Despite preferring to work behind the camera, she's stepped into the spotlight to address global issues. With a background in communications and a passion for problem-solving, Sheynnis is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness. Raised in a family struggling with economic challenges, she became the primary support for her grandmother and younger brother. Her initiative, "Understand Your Mind," aims to make mental health resources more accessible through TV segments and events. Sheynnis dreams of using her skills to serve humanity by managing a newsroom and producing content for international brands.
